With over a decade of experience as a foundational engineer at Avesta, I've lived the journey from hands-on coding to strategic leadership. My career has been defined by one core principle: building technology that delivers real-world outcomes. I began by writing code and evolved to architecting scalable, high-traffic platforms (React, Node.js, Golang, AWS) for millions of users. My most rewarding challenge has been scaling our team for view.com.au, mentoring a group of talented developers from the ground up, and fostering a culture of excellence and ownership. This experience solidified my belief that how you build is just as important as what you build. Today, my focus has expanded. At Avesta, we've embraced a Product Operating Model—moving beyond being a traditional software agency. We partner with clients to de-risk development and accelerate growth through practices of Continuous Discovery (building the right thing) and Continuous Delivery (building the thing right). In my newest role, I am spearheading our Go-to-Market initiatives, bridging the gap between our proven engineering practices and the businesses we serve, while continuing to lead my engineering team.
